Registering as a breeder on The Australian Poultry Breeders Directory
is the best way to sell and support pure bred poultry.
Registering as a breeder has a number of advantages:
- You privacy is protected. Your email address and public details are not
shown, which is extremely important on the modern Internet. Buyers contact
you anonymously via email - you choose to respond to emails sent.
- This site respects your privacy and will not sell or give away your personal
information. You can read the privacy policy here.
- You can create and update the site yourself. The site can have as much
information as you want about the type of stock you have and you as a breeder.
- You can enable and disable your site if you want. Work on your listing
and come back to it later.
- You can give potential buyers lots of information about the breeds
you have. You can list a range of stock, eggs and each listing includes
things such as detailed information and prices. This means less calls wasting your
time and more contact with buyers that want what you have to offer.
- You have the ability to suggest feature improvements or things you think
would make the site better. All suggestions are gladly welcomed.
- In the future you will be able to add news items letting potential breeders
know about your listings happenings.
- In the future you will be able to build up a rating from the buyers buying
from you, further increasing your reputation as a seller.
As a breeder you agree to a few simple conditions:
- This directory is for pure breed poultry only. Commercial breeders are most welcome as
is the smallest and most infrequent of breeders.
- One listing per breeder. Listing can have multiple stock and types.
- You agree to the code of practice for selling pure breed poultry.
- All liability is between you are the buyer - this site is only a form
of communication and will not be responsible for stock traded between
buyers and sellers.
- All information in your listing is your sole responsibility.
- If you are no longer selling poultry, we ask that you disable or remove your
listing so as to keep information as current as possible.
- The right is reserved to reject and/or remove any listing for any reason.
- The rules may be updated at any time, you will be notified of any changes
to rules.
